This is a topic that you don’t hear about too much.
In fact I doubt you’ll read about it anywhere else.
It has to do with bowel movements and what they say about your health.
A recent study shows that irritable bowel syndrome, or IBS, responds well in some cases to antibiotics. IBS seems to be partly caused by bacteria.
In fact the studies suggest that your bowel gets colonized by certain bad bacteria, and these result in many IBS symptoms.
Researchers report that people often either have chronic constipation, or chronic loose stool, and that both are the result of different types of bad bacteria colonizing the colon and basically coating the sides of the large intestine with a film that causes a lot of problems.
These bacteria spew out toxins and also may cause the walls your gut to become too easily penetrated by bad bacteria. The gut walls are supposed to be permeable to let only certain digested materials through into the bloodstream, but keep everything else in the gut.
But that doesn’t happen as efficiently if you have IBS.
Then the gut walls get hyperpermeable. They don’t filter out the bad stuff as easily. They let it through into the bloodstream.
This is bad. Very bad for health. Super toxic.
The solution is partly to make sure that you replace the bad bacteria with good bacteria. There is a certain way to do this that I will discuss next time.
